On Dec. 8th, 2017,  two women were seen on surveillance video taking a Toys for Tots box out of the McDonalds, and the incident was reported to Kingsland Police for investigation.

The video also shows the two women conversing with employees before leaving the McDonald’s.  McDonald’s employees positively identified the two women as Quashawnda Samone Justice and Danielle Day, both from St. Marys.

According to the police report, Justice had previously been in the Camden County Jail since December 6th for another violation.  Day’s identity was confirmed by social media discussions of the incident. The police report stated that someone identified Day as being the one who helped steal the toys. The report also states that Day participated in the social media discussion and replied on social media  with the comment of “that’s not me.”

After interviews by Kingsland Police, Quashawnda Samone Justice was charged with Theft by Taking and Danielle Day was charged with Party to a Crime. Both women were taken to the Camden County Jail for booking on 12/12/17.
